The Protime Engine Idle Timer is designed specifically for the Hitachi Dash 6 series Excavator. It provides simple and effective control of engine shutdown to protect the turbo chargers & related engine components from instant shutdown at high temperatures. A key feature of the HIT100 Hitachi Idle timer is it's ability to maintain power to ignition circuits for 15 seconds after engine shut down to ensure ECU data save is completed. The HIT100 kit includes an override button with integrated LED & dash label and prefitted Deutsch connectors with mating plugs for quick and easy installation out of the box.
