 The HV-2011 Level Sensor is a capacitance type switch that will detect the presence or absence of lubricating oil in engines or transmissions. The self contained unit has a transistor switched output that will operate a relay coil or indicator lamp if required (max 1A output). The primary use of this switch is intended to input a signal to the Montronics LevelCheck Monitor if the oil level rises above the maximum. This sensor is configured for failsafe operation. ie: It will output while the probe is not covered with oil, when the level rises above the sensor probe the signal will switch off.
